Kristen H

As a former Lululemon manager and fitness fanatic, Kirsten has tried it all. But it wasn’t until recovering from a broken foot that she found her true love: Pilates. She needed a high-intensity, low-impact workout, and the Megaformer™ delivered. After just a few classes, she was hooked for life.

Don’t let her quiet vibe fool you, her workouts speak volumes. Loud, hard, and seriously effective.

  • Favorite thing about your class?
Creativity – I always try to incorporate something new as much as possible.
  • Favorite thing about Megaformer™ or Pilates as a client? (Like when you take class what inspires/ motivates you)?
My favorite thing about Megaformer™ is that you constantly are learning and challenging yourself. As a client, the workout never gets easier or boring. As an instructor, it still amazes me how after 6 years of teaching I can still find new ways to use the machine and challenge others.
  • Favorite type of music for class?
Remixes of the songs you love.
  • Describe your class/ teaching style.
Fast-paced. I love the cardiovascular aspect that you can get from the method. The movements are slow but I work to make the transitions as smooth and as quick as possible!
  • What made you want to become an instructor?
If you told me 7 years ago that I would be a fitness instructor I would have laughed as I’m not an outgoing person. It was consistently taking Dani’s classes and her pushing me out of my comfort zone that inspired me and I knew this was a special method & studio that I wanted to be a part of.
