What started as a stress reliever in grad school quickly turned into Carla’s passion. Introduced to Lagree Fitness™ in 2013, her competitive drive and athletic background made her fall in love with the challenge.

Carla brings that same commitment, discipline, and focus to every class, crafting sessions that blend slow, precise movements with fast transitions and killer beats. She’s all about the mind-body connection, ensuring every extra-long hold has a purpose (and trust her, it’ll be worth it!).

    For me, it’s connecting with people.
  • Favorite thing about Megaformer™ or Pilates as a client? (Like when you take class what inspires/ motivates you)
    Hearing different instructors explain an exercise, I can always pick up a new idea or thought.
  • Favorite type of music for class?
    Fun upbeat with some old school sprinkled in.
  • Describe your class/ teaching style.
    My goal is to create a balanced class program that builds strength and flexibility in my clients.
  • What made you want to become an instructor?
    I am a PT, and I’m used to explaining exercises to one individual for a specific injury. Teaching a group class a full-body workout was a completely new experience and learning process. I love the challenge!
  • Fun/ interesting fact about yourself?
    I didn’t grow up with a dog and our family got a dog during Covid. I love being a dog mom!
  • Favorite pilates / Megaformer™ move?
    Scrambled eggs.
  • Did you have an “AHA” moment with Pilates or Mega? What was it?
    Connecting to my core with exercises, at first wasn’t easy or intuitive, but the more I did pilates the better I became and I am so much stronger as a result.
  • What can you not live without?
    Coffee.
  • What’s a life hack you love?
    After the sheets are washed and dried, I shove the set into the pillowcase. No folded sheets in my house.
  • Favorite time of day?
    Early Saturday and Sunday mornings when I don’t have to rush anywhere.
  • What makes you happiest these days?
    Watching my kids do their thing, whether it’s competing in a sport or participating in a school activity. They make me happy!
  • Still or Sparkling?
    Still.
  • Something you can never get sick of?
    Ice cream.
  • Guilty pleasure?
    Watching rom-coms.
  • The most fun you’ve ever had.
    Disney / Universal family trips.
  • Best advice you’ve ever gotten?
    It’s ok to say “No”.
