With a background in both athletic performance and functional movement, Ali works with athletes across various sports to improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and enhance core stability.     I try to program total body classes with emphasis on functional movement that flow
    with minimal spring changes.
  • What made you want to become an instructor:
    When I realized that my body was my only vehicle and I wanted to teach people how to make it last.
  • Fun/Interesting fact about yourself:
    I work with athletic teams at Rutgers and Princeton Universities.
  • Favorite pilates/mega move:
    Pilates-feet in straps (isn’t this everyone’s?) Mega-scrambled eggs
  • Did you have an “AHA” moment with pilates or mega? What was it?
    Understanding the relationship between the pelvic floor and arches of the feet!

    Yoga
  • What’s a life hack you love?
    Adjusting my rear view mirror to encourage good posture (I do a lot of driving!).
