What Lizzie Brings

Don’t let the sweet smile fool you; she has a Megaformer and she’s not afraid to use it.

She started from the bottom now she’s here. Lizzie landed a front desk job at PB in 2018 and busted her booty (not to mention completed hours on hours of certifications) to become Pilates Blast’s first front desk-to-instructor story.

She’s got a tool belt packed with wry wit, a bartender’s charm, and a wicked sense of humor.

  • Favorite thing about your class?
Every class will feel different than the last one!
  • Favorite thing about mega or pilates as a client? (Like when you take class what inspires/ motivates you)
Fun interactive instructors with hands on corrections! Just don’t tell me to get lower….
  • Favorite type of music for class?
Depends on the day and the people signed up! If i made the playlist for me, classic rock.
  • Describe your class/ teaching style?
I love teaching beginners but my consistent people that show up every week inspire me to teach in a way that’s accessible to everyone. Whether it’s your first time or 1,000th time in class i make sure everyone gets what they need, maybe that’s a modification to make things little less challenging or a way to make the exercise harder. Either way i hope to create an experience that everyone feels successful and strong in!
  • What made you want to become an instructor?
Seeing the impact Dani had on the people around her. I love that someone can come in for class or a private not feeling their best and 40 minutes later they leave feeling like a different person.
  • Fun/ interesting fact about yourself?
I started at PB in January 2018 working part time at the front desk but main my gig has always been bartending. Fast forward to November 2019 i started teaching megaformer, became Pilates Blast’s studio manager and ended my bartending career after 10 years. I finished my Pilates certification in 2020 and have been teaching full time since. I never would have expected my career to grow in this way, and i’m so grateful everyday.
  • Favorite pilates / Mega move?
It depends on the day! Right now, legs in straps, hard work and a stretch!
  • Did you have an “AHA” moment with Pilates or Mega? What was it?
Learning to properly engage my transverse abdominals changed my life! I will never forget feeling that for the first time after years of thinking i was using my abs properly.

My dog, my belt bag, and a reusable water bottle.
